Rofiant asks before touching anything risky. You approve file edits, deletes, commands, and process changes before they happen.
The desktop app's file, command, and screenshot tools run entirely on your machine. Chat replies use hosted models unless you configure a local Ollama model. The Pro and Ultra voice feature runs on our cloud infrastructure.
The desktop app's file tools don't upload your files anywhere. If you use the Pro or Ultra voice transcription feature, that specific recording is sent to our cloud infrastructure to process it.
Account, sync, and cloud-feature traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3). At rest, we rely on our infrastructure providers' storage-level encryption — Rofiant does not add its own encryption layer today.
We monitor our account and sync services with a defined process for detection, response, and notification.
